Originally from Kurdistan, Germani, Iraq, Turkey and more, I actively contribute to my community through volunteering and mentoring, stay engaged in city life by participating in many different community events, and maintain professional involvement through board of Directors work and involvement in lending a hand in the community. It’s my way of staying connected, giving back, and fostering growth on multiple fronts.

My dream for a free day would combine exploration and relaxation. My ideal day would begin with a relaxing breakfast at an old-fashioned café, which would be followed by a rejuvenating activity like hiking or going to a local park. I would curl up with a good book or finish an old favorite series in the afternoon. I might explore a nearby museum or art gallery to add a little bit of cultural enrichment. Finally, I would be able to enjoy both the joy of discovery and a delicious dinner at a new restaurant to cap off the day.
