Roers
I grew up in the Fargo area but left immediately after high school for college and work. I lived in the St. Cloud and Twin Cities areas for about 11 years, but returned to Fargo in 2007 to raise my family, and I’m so happy to be back in our community. I spent 8 years in the ND House of Representatives (2016-2024) and I have served on several boards, including: Building Industry Association of the Red River Valley, NDSU Research and Technology Park, the Cass Clay Interagency Council on the Homeless, Council of State Government Justice Center Board, F5 Project, Jeremiah Program. A lot of my legislative and non-profit work has focused on helping people transitioning out of incarceration and achieving and maintaining sobriety.
I enjoy going to concerts or dinner with friends, and attending sporting events, as well and hanging out with my daughters as often as I can. My playlist is very eclectic, you can find everything under the sun, including: classic rock, country, metal, classical music and showtunes! I’ll eat anything but pasta. Strange, I know!
On a free day I would enjoy my coffee in the sun, go to a baseball or football game and have dinner with friends on a patio.
