I grew up in Fargo. Moved our young family of 5 to the UK then Scotland and moved back to Fargo where we’ve been now for 22 years. We’re back because there is no better place to raise a family. We love the community, the schools, our neighbors and neighborhood and our jobs…now we travel to see our granddaughter and four adult children.
I make good connections when I volunteer at the FMWF Chamber on the Members Relation Committee. I am involved with The Perry Center, a non-profit for unwed moms.
My go-to foods are Blackbird Pizza, Thai food, sushi, and who doesn’t love a great burger. We frequent our neighborhood pub, Peppers, with our neighbors many Fridays during the cool months. We love small, family owned restaurants. On a free day I would putz around the house, cleaning, maybe bake cookies or bandana bread. Later I would go for a bike ride to the Apple Orchard S of town, through Lindenwood Park and through Gooseberry, then find a pool and a good book while I work on a tan. Perhaps we would travel to the lakes.
