Tobias
Zikmund
My family lives in the country a few hours from Fargo. I moved to Moorhead in 2018 to attend MSUM. I later graduated, lived elsewhere for two separate periods, and then moved to Fargo. I consider Fargo to be home base!
I am active with the Downtown Neighborhood Association, Stonewall Sports kickball league, and organizing projects with young artists. I volunteer with political causes, attend public input opportunities for city government, and participate in advocacy events for local food, civic engagement, and more.
On a free day I would go to Youngblood Coffee, have lunch with a friend downtown, and spend time painting.

Why Our Region is Unique
Fargo is a hub for the upper Midwest, so people live here because they care about the area and want to see it thrive. There are lots of opportunities to be active and involved, and there are always new people moving here. Still, it’s possible to establish solid relationships and develop your unique community.
