I am born and raised in Fargo. I graduated from Fargo South High School and North Dakota State University with a degree in Hospitality/Tourism. Over the years, I have served on the Fargo Theatre Board, The NDSU Human Sciences and Education Board of Visitors, and Downtown Community Partnership Board. I also served as marketing chair for Fargo-Moorhead Pride for 5 years. Although she is no longer with us, my certified therapy dog Beta and I would visit families who were staying at the Ronald McDonald House on a weekly basis.

I was recently appointed by Mayor Mahoney to serve on the Historic Preservation Commission to help preserve and protect the city’s historic properties for their education, cultural, historical, and economic value. I believe it is important to give back to my community and am fortunate to work somewhere that offers lots of opportunities to get involved.

As a mom of young kids, on a kid-free day 🙂 I would start my day with a Yoga session, then grab a chai from Namaste Chai, hit up a handful of my favorite thrift stores, and then belly up for happy hour somewhere downtown with a friend.

Why Our Region is Unique

Fargo-Moorhead has all the amenities of a big city with a small town feel. There really is something here for everyone. You just need to know where to look or who to ask (hint: ask an Icebreaker).
