Education

With 30,000 higher education students, the region is alive with energy and opportunity. Fargo-Moorhead is home to Division I, II and III universities, a unique Tri-College University consortium, and a robust system of community, technical and business colleges.

Our regionā€™s schools work together to make education relevant to the emerging needs of the 21st century. That includes a strong STEM focus and measuring the ā€œfour Cā€™sā€ā€”communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity.

Our high school students earn SAT and ACT scores that are consistently above the national averages, and, compared to other communities, more of our high school students graduate and more go on to college.

Private school networks are strong here, too. Evangelical, Lutheran, parochial and Montessori schools are all options. Find preschool and childcare options. Your youngster will get a strong foundation in our schools so they can go on to do big things.
